Mango with Passionfruit Swirl Gelato

 Following a successful summer retail launch of Espresso Mocktini with White Chocolate Ganache and Strawberry with White Chocolate Swirl Gelista, South Australia’s very own family owned premium gelati company have introduced an innovative new sorbet. Mango with Passionfruit Swirl.

“In 2021 we launched our Dairy Free range and received an overwhelmingly positive reaction. Our Mango with Passionfruit Swirl is our newest non-dairy addition to our retail range.” explains Peter Cox, Founder and Managing Director of Gelista.

This new addition rounds out our non-dairy premium ice cream range to a total of 6 flavours, the new sorbet joining the company’s innovative spin on traditionally dairy flavours. These including Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Almond Fudge, Peppermint Double Choc, Coconut with Raspberry Swirl and Salted Caramel with Crunchy Toffee Pieces.

The retail gelato product features some of the highest quality ingredients that Australia has to offer including Queensland Kensington Pride Mangos and Passionfruit from Queensland. This new indulgent sorbet is also one of the only sorbets on the market to feature a swirl.

Peter Cox says “We conducted a lot of research and found that retail consumers want a premium sorbet product. So, what did we do? We put our own innovative spin on one of the best flavours that we craft. We tried variations of pairings and found that the tang of the passionfruit swirl paired perfectly with the flavour of the mango sorbet, a refreshing combination”

Mango Sorbet has long been part of the Gelista foodservice range since the company first began in 2009. It has a long-standing reputation of being one of the smoothest sorbets on the market. Mango with Passionfruit Swirl introduces non-dairy indulgence to the lactose intolerant or those who choose to assume a vegan lifestyle. “Chefs across the country use our sorbet because our recipe and crafting techniques allow the real mango flavour to shine through” Peter Cox explains.
