Gelista Launches Gelati Indulgence on a Stick
The South Australian business that has become synonymous with innovation and excellence in the artisan gelati market has brought a new indulgent product to market once again. Gelista have launched a range of chocolate coated gelati sticks to give their customers a new way to experience the taste and texture Gelista has become famous for.
Since founding in 2009, the team at Gelista has developed a reputation for their commitment to indulging their customers. It is for exactly this reason that Gelista has developed a range of premium quality chocolate coated gelati sticks as the obvious next step in the evolution of the Gelista product range.
“It is really important in life that we take time to indulge ourselves, to live life to its full, particularly in the little moments of our everyday journeys and experiences”, says Peter Cox, Managing Director and founder of Gelista. “When want to take that little moment to recharge your inner joy, that's when we want to delight you.”
Dipped in premium chocolate, the Gelista sticks are made from gelati, not ice cream, which means they contain less air giving them intense flavour and good thermal density. This thermal density means that the gelati does not melt too quickly – making your chocolate coated stick experience as elegant as it is delicious.
“One of the great joys of my job is that I have to stay in touch with what's happening in the market, so I find myself trying all sorts of ice creams as I travel throughout Australia and overseas”, says Peter Cox with a wry smile. “I think the important thing for us to remember is that these little moments of indulgence are really important to our customers. We can't let any aspect of our offering to the customer let them down. To be honest, I have had tried some ice creams overseas that were meant to be incredibly luxurious but then something let's it down. Sometimes the flavour or texture of the ice cream doesn't match the quality of the chocolate. Sometimes the coating is too thin or too hard or cracks unevenly. Sometimes your experience is interrupted by the ice cream melting too fast and running down your hand. When we developed our product, we wanted to take all of these factors into account to make sure that we balanced everything to maximise the joy of the moment for our customers.”
Gelista is launching their new product in two flavours, Vanilla Bean and Lightly Salted Caramel Macadamia, both coated in a luxurious milk chocolate coating.
