Established in 2009, the Gelista brand is rapidly gaining recognition as the leading brand of luxury gelato in Australia. Our artisan style, handmade gelato is produced in small batches, using batch freezing technology to ensure the creamiest texture and that the purest fruit flavours shine through.
At Gelista, we began by making the gelati that chefs wished they had time to make for themselves. We started out producing five litre tubs for fine dining and function and cafes, and then expanded to produce impulse snack products. We now produce over 40 flavours, selling to restaurants, cafes, hospitals, schools, grocers and independent supermarkets.
The Gelista business philosophy is to add value to quality Australian primary produce, particularly the premium dairy produce available in this country. We have created a business that supports local quality producers wherever possible, allowing the real, natural dairy and fruit flavours and textures to star in award-winning products designed to meet the highest expectations of five star luxury dining venues and customers who demand the best, whether in a restaurant, a café or in an impulse treat.
