Premium gelati and ice cream maker, Gelista, is set to bring some excitement into the premium ice-cream and gelato category for both consumers and retailers.
The Gelista “Limited Edition Program” will see the seasonal introduction of new limited-edition flavours into the category. This will not be at the expense of the much loved Gelista standard range. People will still be able to get the now famous Blood Orange & Dark Chocolate, Coconut with Raspberry Swirl, and Ricotta Fig & Honey. Rather, this initiative will provide the premium ice cream buyer with an opportunity to explore new flavours on a regular basis.
“This is something that I believe that the premium ice cream buyer deserves”, says Peter Cox, Managing Director and founder of Gelista. “We have access to some outstanding ingredients and, in the hands of our expert ice cream and gelato makers, we can come up with some amazing flavours. Nothing makes us happier than indulging our customers!”
The new initiative comes after the success of the limited release flavour “White Christmas” in the run up to Christmas 2017.
“We were overwhelmed with fantastic feedback that we received from our customers on the White Christmas flavour”, Says Peter Cox. “They loved having something new on the shelf and were really excited about the new flavour. We really wanted to keep doing something special for our customers.”
Perfectly timed for this time of year, the new program has seen the new luscious “Strawberries and Crème” hit the shelves of specialist stores over the past weeks.
“Strawberry has always been one of the great ice cream flavours”, says Peter Cox. “But what we have done is we have found the best ingredient supplies we can find and have produced something that transforms the traditional strawberry ice cream idea into something truly luxurious”.
The new flavour is elegant in its simplicity. This dairy based strawberry gelati is made more sumptuous with added cream and strawberry pieces.
