
Premium gelati and ice cream maker, Gelista, is set to delight both consumers and the retailers with the announcement of its new flavours for the 2017/18 summer season. In addition, Gelista is also releasing a special limited-edition flavour specifically for Christmas 2017.
This summer, Gelista will add two new standard flavours to its 570 mL consumer jar range. The first is a premium version of Mint Chip, one of the best-selling flavours in the scooping cabinet range. The new “Garden Mint and Dark Chocolate” is described as a classic flavour. The natural Australian garden mint oil gives this dairy based gelati a subtle and refreshing coolness that prepares the palate for the sumptuous dark chocolate ripple. The second flavour that will be added to the 570 mL consumer jar range is “Almond Milk with Apricot Ripple”. This is a beautifully balanced flavour. The nuttiness of the almond milk gelati becomes a symphony of sweet and tart flavours in perfect harmony with the exotic apricot puree swirl.
“We wanted to provide something that was unmistakably opulent for our vegan customers”, says Peter Cox, Managing Director and Chief Gelati Maker at Gelista. “They say that people eat with their eyes. This is a truly delicious flavour but it looks delicious as well!”
One of the great innovations of this season is that Gelista has developed a limited edition flavour for the festive season. The new “White Christmas” flavour is a special flavour to celebrate a wonderful year. Red cherries, sultanas, roasted hazelnuts and honey deliver an opulent flavour that Gelista claims is worthy of its customers.

The new flavours were shipped to distributors around the country on Wednesday (15th November 2017) and should start to appear on shelf in selected retail stores next week.



I would like to say thank you for such a delicious product. I developed an allergy to dairy a few years ago and felt very sorry for myself that I couldn’t have ice cream!
