Adelaide based premium ice-cream and gelato producer Gelista has announced that it has launched a new 150mL single serve jar in the retail market. This follows the successful launch of the 570mL jar in six premium flavours in November 2015 and the extension of the range with two new flavours in late 2016.
“Our products have turned out to be very successful with shoppers in independent supermarkets nationwide wanting to take home a premium dessert product” says Peter Cox, Managing Director of Gelista. “We are now offering a product that will allow convenience stores and inner-city supermarkets to have a ready-to-eat offering for their customers.”
Gelista has established a reputation for quality that is evident in the taste and texture of their products. This high quality has been established as a result of using premium ingredients, innovative flavours, careful crafting techniques and a genuine desire to indulge their customers.
Gelista was established as a business serving restaurant chefs and food service customers. This was the main driver for their innovation, offering bespoke flavour development.
The success of the 570mL has been attributed to the elegant flavour profiles.
“Not only did our 570mL jars look fantastic, they also delivered on the promise tasting as good as they look”, says Mr Cox. “People eat food with their eyes. Our 150mL jars look fantastic and will deliver on taste for the customer.”
The 150mL Gelista jars are available in four flavours:
